Bleach Exile Mini Plots

Within every faction, on every level, there are inter-workings that are conducted everyday. Jobs more crucial than the cataloging of daily-lives that most of us RP regularly. These activities shake the core of existence within our game-word; and keep the balance. We call these all-important objectives "Missions". Shinigami do not hone their skill from deep conversations by their bed-sides; skill is honed by hunting hollows in the field. Choose your objective: war, wealth, or even peace and keeping the balance. Gather a team and set forth. The Captain commands his squad, and the Espada orders her Fraccion; these are what missions are for.

Mini-Plots provide action via the current site structure, and present the opportunity to undergo small plots that can be managed in one thread. Mini-Plots provide true character growth, and are only limited by your creativity.

Mini-Plots are goals, and goals are the basis of story-telling. Without a goal, your character is a waste of space: if you can't figure out a goal just log off now.

How They Work

Mini-Plots are threads where a pre-determined team (two or more player/characters) will undergo a plot to complete an objective. The team's goal (reason why you're doing this) will be clear at first, but everything else is decided through playing your character.

Mini-Plots can be original stories where players team up to do something new, or tie in with the current scenarios of the site itself. Mini-Plots are goal driven: not every Mini-Plot will require combat but there will be conflict. Within the Mini-Plot there will be an antagonist of some kind. This can be either a player-character who just wants to conflict with you, or some other force (ex. Law-enforcement, nature, a gang of hollows, a giant chicken).

The length and requirements of the Mini-Plot will be dependent on the settings mentioned in the Mini-Plot-request (the Mini-Plot request template will be listed below).

Mini-Plot Types

• Organizational
  There are many different organizations within the variety of classes on Bleach Exile. High-ranking members and Leaders within the many organizations (ex. Captains within the Gotei 13) may assign missions for their squads to undergo. These Mini-Plots are meant to be for the greater good of the organization, not private endeavors. However, some leaders may think that frivolous journeys are worth gathering teams.
  
  
• Personal
  These Mini-Plots are generally private endeavors which aren't sponsored by a governing entity. Best described as vendettas, personal missions are geared towards accomplishing goals that only benefit members of the team, or something to that effect. Personal missions should generally call for pre-assembled teams, as unacquainted characters would hardly stick their necks out for you. These are less-likely to be approved, and even then large rewards are unlikely.

Difficulty
There are four-different tiers of Mini-Plot-difficulties which range from Basic (Simple adventures) to Legendary (Extremely difficult and life-threatening Operations). The level of the Mini-Plot's difficulty will effect both the Mini-Plot's appeal and what kind of rewards may come of it. Extremely difficult Mini-Plots will provide great rewards, but will be approved very scarcely.

• Basic
  These Mini-Plots may vary greatly, and range from adventures and exploration, to other basic heroic or villainous conquests. Basic Mini-Plots are limited by your creativity.
  
  
• Intermediate
  Intermediate Mini-Plots hold an aspect of possible danger and require a leader amongst the characters to take part. Though intermediate Mini-Plots may not result in combat, the risk of danger still exists and they must be prepared to face it.
  
  
• Advanced
  Danger is certain. Then game environment requires skill and care as the team may face extremely difficult scenarios. More than one highly-skilled / high-ranked character is necessary for these Mini-Plots.
  
  
• Legendary
  Destruction is nearly certain. Legendary Mini-Plots will generally tie directly into site-plot developments, and there will be no NPCs (Unless approved by an Admin). Only highly-skilled characters will be allowed on Legendary Mini-Plots unless waived by Staff. Legendary Mini-Plots will rarely be approved.

Mini-Plot Approval
Mini-Plot approvals are only required for [b]Legendary Mini-Plots due to their potential impact on the site, and required difficulty. This has always been the ruling. Advanced Mini-Plots due not require approval to be started, but will be marked down to intermediate class if highly-skilled characters were not necessary to successfully complete the mission.

Staff note: this is necessary to keep the amount of work under control.

Reward System
A big part of the Mini-Plot System concept is rewarding players for getting in-depth and making these Mini-Plots happen. That being said, there will be rewards earned for your efforts. Conducting Mini-Plot-threads will take a bit more coordination and thought than your regular thread, as their is a potentially deep story on the line; not that shit you're used to.

Maximum Mini-Plot Tier GP Yields
Basic 100GP
Intermediate 300GP
Advanced 600GP
Legendary 1000GP

The reward GP will be awarded by an Admin upon review of the complete Mini-Plot. No matter what the rank of the Mini-Plot is, if the RP is under par, the reward will be minimal. Only well-performed Mini-Plots will yield the maximum payout, and this is based on quality not success. A Mini-Plot failure can still earn a high payout if it was an epic-fail. Also note that each player inside these Mini-Plots will be judged. So if your writing is sub-par to another's you may or may not be awarded the full amount.

Mini Plot Review

Once the Mini Plot is complete, the Mini Plot's creator will return to the request thread and add a completion notice by tagging links to their complete Mini Plot threads. Just like anything else, Moderators will be able to pre-approve these Mini Plots and recommend a reward, but this will ultimately be up to the admin.
